Not too cold today, the sun was shining, but I think we are in for it tonight. Either snow or ice or both. Scott called and said they had put in a supply of goodies as they are right in the middle of the path.
I haven't been doing much of anything lately. I need to get out my list of goals that I planned on working on this year, and see what I can start on. I did get Claire's little Christmas ornament mailed off today…it was such a strange day, that they got off before I thought to give it to her, and I found it after they left. Also I found her tooth fairy money on the chest of drawers…she's been getting a silver half dollar and a gold dollar. Teeth have really been coming up in value! So got that wrapped up securely and mailed it too.
Then I gathered up all the old photos that Vickie and Lela had picked out and went to WM to make copies on the photo machine….ran through pretty fast, and picked up another mailer for them, came home and got it addressed and ready to go. But when I got home it dawned on me that I hadn't stopped by the store to pick up bread and milk, so had to go back out again later.
I did manage to get all the grands' valentines mailed out yesterday.
Brenda had a call from her dad yesterday that her stepmom had passed away. He hasn't kept in touch very often, and I think she's only met her once or twice in the twenty years they've been married. One of her daughters wants to have the visitation and the service on the same day, a son wants two days.
I hope it is just on Saturday, as Brenda will go on up with her brother and niece. She hasn't heard anything yet.
Freezing rain, sleet and snow, the weather lady says. Sounds like fun…I think I'd better get to bed a bit earlier tonight as tomorrow is my early morning to drive Steph to school.
